Buck decides to sacrifice himself to take it down, which ends up killing all onboard, including Jacobs. In this draft, abusive guard Dodge (Tom Felton) survived the uprising at the Shelter and was meant to reappear on the Golden Gate Bridge at the end. Tim Burton helmed a successful but poorly-received Planet Of The Apes remake in 2001, and the franchise was once again rebooted with 2011's Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes.
